I'm very wary of giving advice to other people, but I catch myself saying "I should..." a lot, when what I mean is "I want to..." or, worse, "I don't want to but I think I'm expected to......"

I'm not big on the "You Should" format of giving advice. I hate being told what to do and how to do it by people so I never embraced the concept when giving advice to others. Instead, I either give an instance when I was in the same situation and the outcome, or I ponder over it and tell them what I might do. Everyone is motivated differently so I can't say that I would do the same thing as someone else and vice versa.
