eff Love

Wasn't going to post the Rihanna interview (it does seem a little exploitive to me) until what she said brought me to tears. Because of the truth of it.

I am strong. This happened to me. I didn't cause this. I didn't do it. This happened to me and it can happen to anybody. - Rihanna

That quote is for every time I blame myself, and think of all the moments in high school when I could have just walked away. And changed my life forever, and perhaps been less socially awkward (well, perhaps), more trusting, more realistic. For all the regrets and nightmares and anxiety. I truly hope Rihanna is doing this out of her own will because she is becoming to Domestic Violence what Mickey Mouse is to childhood.

A face.

I hope to be a face too. That "hey, this can happen to anybody. It happened to me."

The first part (really starts at 1:10):

She sounds like she has been to therapy, read some books, allowed the moment to strengthen her. At least to me, it sounds like we had the same therapist.

Part two:

I really love her accent from Barbados, too.
